Royal Over-Seas League  :  ROYAL OVER-SEAS LEAGUE AUDIO VISUAL SYSTEM more
We therefore concentrate on the vital, but often literally ‘behind-the-scenes’, elements of any performance or presentation environment again drawing on our experinec from the Broadcast and Sound & Lighting markets.

Backstage communications and stage managers’ consoles in theatres... intercoms, cue lights and translation equipment in conference venues... or computer projection and video playback in a presentation suite... clients rightly demand that all the equipment should work together seamlessly - that, in a word, it should integrate.

Whatever the requirement, at Oxford Sound & Media, we bring that integrated approach – to the design, the engineering and to the project management.

Our technicians are equally at home with traditional electrics and advanced electronics and computer networks and - and their prime aim is to ensure that all the elements in the system network and interface smoothly. Hardware, firmware and software are combined to achieve the right answer for any particular set of circumstances.

We are also seeing new and growing requirements for media systems to play important roles in helping provide content easily and quickly: areas such as media asset management and broadcast automation are in much demand. For example, we designed and installed a fully integrated production system for the whole of the BBC World Service, supporting all the output – in 42 different languages.
